Life
Following my graduation from Parkville HS in 1961, I entered the University of Maryland where in addition to academics (Phi Beta Kappa 1965), I was active in AFROTC- Pershing Rifles, Arnold Air Society, Scabbard & Blade. I graduated with a BA in Govt & Politics in 1965 and was commissioned in the Air Force where I served 14 years on active duty in Germany, Thailand, and the US. ng Commission where I continue to date (2006) and an administrative/personnel specialist. In 1981, I also joined the Army Reserve continuing in the Civil Affairs Branch (including participating in Operation Desert Storm) until my retirement as a major in 1995.
I have been married for 35 years and have three children-31, 25, 20. My additional education includes an MA in International Relations from Maryland and an MS in Systems Management from USC.
